Abby

Abby has been passionate about animals from an early age. Growing up in Mantua, New Jersey, with her parents, older sister, and her beloved American Bulldog, Brutis, Abby’s love for animals was a key part of her life. She began her career dedicated to helping animals by working at an animal shelter, which sparked her passion for animal advocacy. Abby then ventured into veterinary medicine, gaining extensive knowledge about the animal world. Her journey led her to join CTO Dog Training as an apprentice, where she worked her way up to become a full-time trainer. When Abby isn’t doing what she loves at work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and hiking with her chocolate Labrador, Waelon.

Porchia

Porchia is a passionate and dedicated dog trainer who loves creating joyful and respectful relationships between people and their dogs. Growing up surrounded by active dogs, Porchia developed an early interest in helping others train their furry companions. With a keen eye for observing the interactions between dogs and humans, Porchia excels in understanding what makes these relationships work. She finds great reward in the process of motivating dogs and witnessing their transformation into well-trained companions.

Originally from Arizona, Porchia is a true animal lover. Her household is filled with a diverse range of animals, including 28 chickens, two Khaki ducks, her cat Lucy, heeler Millie, American Eskimo Harley, a guinea pig, and fish. Outside of training dogs, Porchia enjoys spending time in nature and being active. Her hobbies include riding horses, gardening, kayaking, playing the piano, hiking, baking, cooking, and constantly working with her hands. With a lifetime of experience around animals, Porchia’s passion for dog training is evident in every wagging tail and happy bark she helps create.
