Abby has been passionate about animals from an early age. Growing up in Mantua, New Jersey, with her parents, older sister, and her beloved American Bulldog, Brutis, Abby’s love for animals was a key part of her life. She began her career dedicated to helping animals by working at an animal shelter, which sparked her passion for animal advocacy. Abby then ventured into veterinary medicine, gaining extensive knowledge about the animal world. Her journey led her to join CTO Dog Training as an apprentice, where she worked her way up to become a full-time trainer. When Abby isn’t doing what she loves at work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and hiking with her chocolate Labrador, Waelon.

Congratulations on your puppy! We know that that exuberant ball of energy will eventually require a training solution.

Elisa Obedoza2024-08-16 We've been training with CTO dog training for about a month now and we have seen great improvement with our 5 month German Shepherd Puppy. Chris, our trainer, has been so helpful throughout the whole process and is thorough with everything. If we have questions, Chris is always available to clarify anything. He is very knowledgeable and we are glad to have found him. We are so excited to continue our journey training with them. I highly recommend CTO Dog training for any dog training needs! Darren Forry2024-08-11 Chris was exceptional in assisting us to train our Bernese Mountain Dog He went over everything in depth when he was 4 months old with the first luring stage of training and then even more so in his second stage of training at 6 months We can not believe the change and responsiveness in him now. Would recommend him to anyone and will use him again with our next puppy. Thanks Chris tiffany crawford2024-07-21 Great communication prior to, during, and even after the obedience training visit! Love that this company is fully remote and is very flexible with my work schedule. I highly recommend this company for dog training services. Chris was super informative and very knowledgeable when he came over and met our GSD puppy on Day 1. He went over a top priority list on what we should be doing as first-time puppy owners, along with a list of items of what we would like to accomplish with this program. We will be continuing with the weekly individual sessions until our puppy is fully trained and ready to conquer the world. Thank you Chris for all of your input so far! Zenab Eldreny2024-07-16 Chris and his team were great! He trained two puppies for our family. One we are hoping to make a service dog for my daughter and the other who will grow into our family as our family dog. He was supportive and listened attentively to the 100 questions we had. He responded to the texts we sent and my kids awaited eagerly during the board and train as he sent pictures and videos to update them of their progress. CTO was definitely a great choice for our family and we will continue to use his services as we get Sushi to where she needs to be as a service dog! Highly recommended if you want a trainer who knows what do and how to respond to ANY dog breed. He did a great job with our Shepard, and our Husky/Wolf/Malamute mix. He also worked with us on our Akita. Catherine Moreno2024-07-16 I highly recommend working with CTO! Chris’ passion for dogs is incredible. He is attentive not only to your dog but also your unique environment, living conditions, challenges, and training goals. He has a tremendous depth of knowledge with extensive experience in a wide range of training and behavioral situations. He teaches so much more than the basic sit/stay/come and takes the time to properly educate owners about dogs and proper dog training and ownership. While initially hesitant about sending our dog to do a board and train we are immensely grateful that we did and very happy with the results of his stay at CTO. Whitney van Roden2024-07-02 We had an amazing experience with Chris and the board and train program. We have a 1 year old pup who started to show some aggression towards our middle dog. Chris took both dogs and returned well behaved, fully trained and just as sweet dogs! He spent so much time with me on the phone prior to training helping me figure out what was going on in my pack. It was so amazing, we are now using him for boarding too. I can’t thank Chris and his family enough for taking such great care of my girls! Nanci Zippilli2024-06-30 Chris was very helpful in showing us and the dogs tools and tips for them to live in a peaceful home. I would highly recommend him for your dog training needs. Erica Dawn2024-06-29 We have a two year old dog and a puppy, and Chris did an amazing job with both of them! One of our biggest concerns was leash pulling, but when they came back, they walked beside us perfectly. The most valuable part of the experience has been the care after our babies came home. Chris was clear, answered all of our questions, and continues to be available if we need a refresher, or if something new comes up. We have a coach for life, and one that we trust to make sure our pups are happy and safe! sunny2024-06-28 Chris was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we made our inquiry with Chris we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chris answered any and all questions, explained every step of the process thoroughly, and made us feel more than comfortable leaving our puppy with them. We knew from the start that this company was professional and we would get the desired results. Chris sent us weekly update videos and kept us in the loop the entire time. He even wanted to keep our dog a few days longer to make sure that the skills and lessons were honed. Upon delivery of our dog, she was groomed and an all around completely different dog (in a good way lol). Chris spent 2 or 3 solid hours with us walking us through the training taught and answering any and all questions we had. We have already recommended CTO Dog training to a number of our friends and would recommend anyone in need of dog training give them a call. 100/10! Thanks guys! attalla212024-06-23 Chris did a wonderful job with our pets. We have three dogs of varying ages who each have their own issues that needed to be fixed. Chris took his time explaining and working with each dog individually. He was very meticulous and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. After one session we noticed a big change in our dogs. I would recommend him to anyone with a dog and would absolutely use him again if needed.
